Clue: Parks and Recreation Edition
Can you solve a murder mystery?
Oh no! This quarantine has finally gotten to the Parks and Recreation Department staff! They are tired of all the cancellations and delays in their fun activities. They wish people could be back in the parks, having fun, working out, playing ball, swimming and playing tennis. Enough is enough! We are done with the evil Dr. Covid who started this pandemic! He must be punished!
Are you a good enough detective to figure out which Parks Department employee finally snapped? Who did it? Where did they do it? What weapon did they use? Clues will be hidden along the bike path at Griffin Park, near the Tanana Lakes Pavilion, at the Boat Launch area at Chena Lake Recreation Area, Growden Park, at Fun Time Park, and in Gold Rush Town at Pioneer Park.
Be sure to maintain appropriate social distancing while you investigate and please don't touch or remove the clue!
Search high and low for paper clues along the trails that will mention either a suspect, weapon or location that wasn't used in the crime. Each location has one location clue, one weapon clue and one suspect clue (except for the crime location that is!). You will need to walk, bike or run on each path to make sure you don’t miss any evidence. If you find no clues at a location, you have solved where the crime took place!
Once you have figured out this mystery, email lauren.eck@fnsb.us with your answer to see if you are correct! Let us know many detectives are in your family. One lucky family will be drawn to win a Coldstone Creamery Gift Card! DON’T give away the answer online, we want to keep this fun going for and give everyone a chance to figure it out.
This mystery will be available from May 8th – 29th.
