May is Older Americans Month. The theme this year is "Be seen, be heard, be valued"

To celebrate Older Americans Month the Fairbanks North Star Borough Parks & Recreation Department will be hosting a catered luncheon and awards ceremony on Thursday May 9th from 10:00am - 1:00pm at the Carlson Center. 

Timber Creek is hosting at Senior Stroll to follow the luncheon beginning at 1:00pm, walking as a group from Carlson Center to Pioneer Park and returning to Carlson Center.

Menu:

Italian Roast Beef
Whipped Butter and Cream Potatoes
Roasted Vegetables
Roll and Butter

Vegetarian Option:
Ratatouille
