If you have an adolescent who wishes to participate in an adult activity, please consult with the Program Manager about the guidelines for the activity. Most parent accompanied adolescents are able to participate upon consultation. New faces are welcome and we remind all participants to have a current registration form and waiver on file with the Parks & Recreation Department.Parks & Recreation will begin offering limited transportation for the Adaptive Recreation Programs beginning September 16, 2024. This service will be different from Van Tran because the drivers will be one of the P&R staff members and all participants will be picked up/dropped off on one route. You may still use Van Tran if you so choose. The Adaptive Program will offer limited transportation for Monday, Wednesday, and Friday programs. All drop offs will be made at the original pickup location unless prior arrangements are made. All participants who use the P&R transportation will need to sign a van code of conduct. We are unable to offer transportation for North Pole or outlying areas due to staffing limitations. If you need to  cancel transportation, please call 907 459-1097 at least 4 hours before the activity is scheduled to begin.  Failure to call in and cancel your ride, may result in loss of transportation privileges.Contact:Michelle LeonardRecreation Programs ManagerPhone: (907) 459-1097
